Eric J Mouzer – FRICS FCIARB
Eric is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and Chartered Arbitrator. Eric has been involved in numerous mediations mainly in the civil/commercial sector including: Property, Construction, Engineering, PFI, IT, Finance, Housing Disrepair. Eric is a CEDR accredited and registered mediator and is included on AMM, CEDR, RICS, CIARB and Talk Mediation mediation panels.

 

John Marshall – BSc CEng FICE FCIArb MAE
John is a partner in a property and construction consultancy and is based in the West Midlands. He is listed by CEDR, CIArb (and an assessor on their mediation course), RICS and the Association of Midlands Mediators. Accredited in 1995, he has mediated a wide range of disputes from negligence to boundaries and from train parts to piling.

 

Paul Balen - Paul has been practising as a solicitor since 1977 specialising in personal injury, medical negligence, sports and defamation cases. He is a member of ADR Group, Sports Dispute Resolution , Association of Midlands Mediators and Clerksroom mediation panels. He is a Senior Fellow of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers; a Public School Governor; and Chairman of an I.T company.

 

Charles Powell - Charles was accredited as a mediator by ADR Group (1992) and CEDR (1996). He has conducted over 90 commercial mediations and has particular expertise in the fields of professional negligence claims, partnership disputes and general commercial disputes. Charles is a Solicitor with over 20 years experience of dispute resolution.

 

Andrew Paton
Andrew is a partner based in the Birmingham office of an international law firm. He is chairman of the Association of Midlands Mediators and is on the panels of CEDR, ADR Net and In Place of Strife. In addition he is accredited by the Law Society and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has been a mediator since 1990. His practice covers a broad range of disputes but with a particular emphasis on professional negligence and construction

 

Jeffrey C Rosenthal - FCIArb FCCA MAE
Jeffrey Rosenthal is a Chartered Certified Accountant, Chartered Arbitrator, Expert Witness and an Accredited Mediator. With over 20 years experience in commercial and consumer dispute resolution, he can offer arbitration, expert determination, mediation and expert witness services based on more than 35 years in general accountancy practice.

 

Mark Beesley
Mark is a CEDR accredited Mediator and has been mediating since 1995. A Partner in Shakespeare Putsman LLP, and Head of its Business Litigation Team, Mark specialises in professional negligence claims and commercial contract disputes of all kinds.

 

David A Ellwood, MCIArb
David is a Civil and Commercial Mediator accredited by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Admitted as a Solicitor in 1972, he brings a strong background in both contentious and non-contentious matters to his Mediation Practice. His hallmarks are thorough preparation, a calm, professional manner and a quiet determination for the Mediation process to succeed.

 

Christopher Fitton
Chris is a solicitor specialising in dispute resolution by mediation. He has been an accredited mediator since 1999. He has mediated over 70 cases, including cases in the following areas: contract & commercial, financial services, professional negligence, private client (probate and trusts), property and construction. His reputation is as a highly effective mediator with a proactive and persuasive approach

Eve Wilson – F.Inst.L.Ex, Cert Ed.
In private legal practice over 20 years dealing with wide range of civil litigation matters. Eve has specialised in personal injury whilst conducting general litigation – fast and multi track. She has supervised and trained staff. Eve has been involved in a number of mediations in the commercial and civil sector, dealing with both small and very high valued claims.

 

Philip J Harris MA Cantab, FCIArb - Philip is a solicitor. He is CEDR accredited. He is on the panels of the Association of Midland Mediators, the Law Society, Talk Mediation and Law Works. He has been a practising mediator since 1994. He undertakes all civil mediation work, specializing in construction and property disputes and disputes under commercial contracts.

 

Steve Richards Steve was accredited as a Mediator by the School of Psychotherapy and Counselling, Regents College in 2006, and is on the Panels of The Association of Midlands Mediators and of Talk Mediation. Mediations in which he has been involved have included the resolution of Right of Way and Boundary disputes, Professional Negligence, Sale of Goods and Services and Family Disputes over Inheritance. He is Midlands based, but also has premises in Yorkshire.

 

Christopher J. Smith

Christopher is a Partner and the Head of the Civil Litigation Department with Midlands Solicitors. He is on the Commercial Mediation Panels of ADR Group and the Association of Midlands Mediators and since 2002 has mediated a wide range of business and also private disputes.

 

Michael Wyldbore-Smith
Michael is a consultant with a firm of surveyors in Birmingham, and the property executive to a charitable trust in Stratford upon Avon. He has been a practising mediator since 1999 and is on the panel of the Association of Midlands Mediators and the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He specialises in all property related disputes - particularly boundary disputes.

 

Harvinder Singh Bhurji LLB (Hons) QDR MCIArb MCMI Harvinder runs his own Mediation Firm, an Accredited CEDR, Academy of Experts and ADR Group Commercial Mediator, on the mediation panels of; the Academy of Experts, ADR Group, AMM, CIArb, MIEA, and OXCHEPS. Since 2002 has mediated several civil, commercial, community, victim offender disputes, as well as arbitrated, conciliated and delivered mediation training, fluently speaks English and Punjabi, also understands Hindi and Urdu.

Andrew is Head of Commercial Dispute Resolution for a firm of Solicitors in Birmingham operating within niche areas in the Commercial and Public Sectors and is on the panels of CEDR and the Association of Midland Mediators. He has been a practising Mediator since 2002 and specialises in a range of disputes including General Commercial, Construction, Commercial Property, Professional Negligence and Partnership disputes

 

Peter Collie Peter is a CEDR trained Registered Mediator. Since 1999 he has mediated a variety of commercial disputes from IT and Construction through to disputes over Shooting Rights. He has also mediated a number of none commercial matters. Peter is a Barrister and Chartered Arbitrator in independent practice specialising in construction matters. He is also a Chartered Builder and Chartered Surveyor.

Malcolm R Hacking – LLB (Hons) London Malcolm, Solicitor, Arbitrator, Adjudicator and CEDR Accredited Mediator, receives referrals from a number of nominated bodies including the C.I.Arb, TeCSA, Law Society (for Arbitration work), AMM, ANN and others. His first career was in building, civil engineering and engineering services. Head of the Dispute Resolution Department of his firm for nearly 30 years, he has considerable Mediation experience.

Maz Adam Iqbal LLB (Hons), PGDip, MCIArb, CeMAP

Maz is a practising barrister, mediator, independent mortgage advisor and runs a property business. He was appointed by the DCA as Manchester Mediation Scheme Mediation Advisor. Panel memberships include Association of Northern Mediators, Association of Midland Mediators and the Manchester Law Society Panel. Maz features in the Bar Council List of Barrister Mediators and is a Civil Mediation Council member.

Andrew Manning Cox - Andrew is senior litigation partner at a major firm of Solicitors. He is a CEDR accredited mediator as well as an arbitrator and a solicitor with full Higher Rights of Audience. He has been a practising mediator since 1995 and has wide experience of all forms of commercial disputes.

 

Christopher J Cox - Chris Cox is a former banking insolvency lawyer with construction law expertise and a founder member of the AMM, who specialises in commercial disputes, particularly those between solicitors or former business partners. He actively promotes principles of consensus, co-operation and collaboration. He serves on mediation panels for CEDR, CIArb and The Law Society. Andrew Eastgate

A solicitor and formerly head of corporate finance for Pinsents in Birmingham, Andrew has been practising as a mediator since 2005 and is CEDR and ADR accredited. Andrew mediates a broad range of commercial disputes, with shareholder and company matters being his speciality. Andrew was appointed to the CEDR Solve panel of commercial mediators in 2007

 

Andrew Spooner - Andrew is a solicitor who has specialised in Commercial Litigation for over 25 years. He was Head of the Litigation department in a leading Midlands firm for 15 years and has wide experience of using mediation to resolve disputes for clients in commercial contract disputes, employment and partnership cases, corporate and professional negligence claims. Accredited as a Mediator in 1995, Andrew sits as a Deputy District Judge and is on the Standing Committee of the AMM.

 

Marc Nye LLB (Hons)

Marc has practised as a Litigation Solicitor for over 30 years. He is an experienced Mediator having trained with CEDR in 1995 and mediated in a wide range of disputes from commercial and private contracts, professional negligence, building and construction, ownership of and rights over land through to nuisance.

 

Tim Jones - Tim accredited as a Mediator in 2000 He has practised in the areas of Employment and Commercial Litigation for over 18 years . He has wide experience of using mediation to resolve commercial disputes for clients in employment and partnership ,professional negligence claims , and landlord and tenant . He is recognised as a Leader in his field by Legal 500 and Chambers.
